Name In Native Language: Konata
Spanish. Konata has always loved the world of art, and her artistic talents stood out from a very young age. She went on to earn an intermediate degree in Graphic Design and was a finalist in several competitions, but design didn't fulfill her. Since childhood, her true passion has been the world of comics, specifically manga, which led her to begin studying Manga at Escola Joso on weekends.
She soon realized that this was the path she wanted to pursue and enrolled in the Graphic Art course. A highlight of her time at Escola Joso was winning first prize in the Clip Studio Paint International Comic & Manga School Contest with her work ¡Ánimo papá! (Cheer up, Dad!). She currently works for the publisher Planeta, contributing to the magazines Planeta Manga and Manga Issho. She is the author of Kohva and the illustrator of Nebesta. She has also fulfilled her dream of publishing in Japan with her new manga Meaheim, created alongside scriptwriter Kenji Tsurubuchi and published by Kodansha.
