Caught in the Dark Navy Admiral's Net

The sea is a lawless zone, plagued by man-eating sea monsters and pirates. In such a sea, there exists the world’s strongest naval admiral, feared by all. With wealth, power, and looks, he has one secret: His true identity is a siren!

Living in a world where other species have disappeared, he hides his identity, but when he meets the sea-loving Cella, she uncovers his secret.

“Siren, huh? I like mackerel, tuna, flatfish, stingrays… basically all marine fish.”
“…Fish.”
She’s a strange woman who, despite her eccentricities, hides her powers.
He decides to hire her to keep an eye on her, but…
“What if I want to become a beach bum?”
“What’s that?”
“It’s simple. I don’t work, I just lounge around, eating and doing nothing—basically a rich layabout. That’s my dream, to live like that by the beach.”
“……”
“If you hire me, I won’t work. I’ll just lay on the couch like a seal, patting my belly.”
“That sounds fun. I’ve never hired a sea seal before.”

His nonchalant answer leaves Cella flustered.
Wait, this isn’t what she planned? She never intended to get involved with the admiral. He is, after all, the final boss from the original work!

Unintentionally treating his illness and uncovering his true identity, she decides to escape to a beach resort for a peaceful life.

“This is interesting.”

The admiral, with his fiery gaze, looks out at the sea and orders:

“Chase the ferry to Maltana. Now.”
