The Goddess’s Job! A Woman at Her Limit Becomes a Goddess in Another World

Kasumi worked for an exploitative company until it quite literally killed her. After dying from overwork, she finds herself transported to the boundary between worlds. It looks like the beginning of a perfectly ordinary isekai story: meet a goddess, receive some special abilities, reincarnate in a fantasy world, and begin an exciting second life. Except Kasumi never gets that far. Instead, the goddess responsible for overseeing reincarnators dumps her own job onto Kasumi and makes her an acting goddess. Apparently even dying isn't enough to escape employment. With the highly capable angel Mashiro at her side, Kasumi now has to process the endless stream of eccentric souls waiting to be reincarnated. Each prospective otherworlder arrives with their own ridiculous ambitions, requests, personality quirks, and expectations about the wonderful cheat-powered adventure awaiting them. And somebody has to deal with all of them. From handing out abilities to managing troublesome reincarnators, Kasumi discovers what the usual isekai formula looks like from the other side of the divine counter. The heroes may get to run off on fantastic adventures, but behind every reincarnation is an exhausted goddess stuck doing the paperwork.

A workplace isekai comedy told from the perspective of the divine employees responsible for sending everyone else on their adventures.
