Masterpiece Illustrated Children's Tales

(from ebookjapan):
This is a rare and valuable compilation of picture books published as "Shotaro Ishimori's Masterpiece Picture Tales" series volume 1-6 (published by Hikari no Kuni): "Treasure Island", "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea", "The Little Match Girl", "The Three Musketeers", "Lobo, the King of Currumpaw", and "The War of the Worlds". The stories are all written in hiragana for young children, but the bold and lively spreads, typical of Shotaro Ishinomori, are a masterpiece! The end of the book contains the unfinished manuscript of "The Little Mermaid," the seventh book in the series!
