Serialized in Kobunsha’s Shonen magazine starting in 1960, Gun King is a Western manga created by the legendary master of action comics, Taku Horie. Produced during a period when he was simultaneously serializing hits like Yaguruma Kennosuke and Tenma Tenpei, this work hails from the era when Horie was at the height of his powers, wielding his pen as one of the most popular manga artists of the time. We invite you to pay special attention to the gunfights, which are choreographed with the dynamic flair of traditional stage combat!
