Nina

Nina calls the streets her home. Along with Boot, her pigeon companion, she has learned to expect nothing from the world around her. Until she meets the Bakerson family — the only people who ever treated her with care. As illness threatens what little she has left, the Bakersons take her in their care and show her that there is nothing wrong with asking for help.
