Hametsu Ruto o Mezashi, Kanpekina Akuyaku Reijo ni Natemisemasu! Oshi no Tame Ateuma o Yaritogetainoni, Buaisona goei Kishi sama ga yatara to Karandekimasu

In her previous life, she was a kindhearted grandmother who enjoyed reading romance novels recommended to her by her granddaughter. After her death, she unexpectedly awakens inside one of those very novels as Sashuna, the story's villainous noblewoman. For most people, discovering they've reincarnated as a villainess destined for destruction would be terrifying. Sashuna is delighted. After all, she adores the novel's heroine. If playing the villainess and ultimately meeting her own ruin is what it takes to ensure her favorite character reaches her proper happy ending, Sashuna is more than willing to make the sacrifice. And so she resolves to become the perfect villainess. There's just one problem: Sashuna is terrible at being evil. She may look like an intimidating noblewoman, but underneath she's still the gentle grandmother from her previous life. Her attempts at villainous behavior repeatedly turn into acts of kindness, and instead of destroying her reputation, Sashuna somehow becomes increasingly popular with everyone around her. Then there's Josner, the perpetually expressionless knight assigned to guard Sashuna's fiancé. He keeps interfering with her plans, watching her suspiciously and appearing whenever she's trying to perform her villainous role. Eventually, Josner discovers Sashuna's secret, throwing her carefully planned destruction route even further off course. Sashuna only wants to play her part, become the perfect villainess and gracefully ruin herself for the sake of her beloved heroine. Unfortunately, her grandmotherly personality keeps making everyone like her, and one particularly persistent knight seems determined to make sure she never reaches the ending she's aiming for.

A villainess reincarnation romantic comedy about a former grandmother desperately trying to become the story's hated antagonist, only to discover that being genuinely awful is much harder than it looks.
