The Legend of Mutants

Suppose your loved one is infected with a pathogen that will destroy humanity.
Would you take the life of a loved one?

A "battle" in primitive times. A story that begins with a single ore and continues into a tragedy. A struggle for survival after being contaminated by radioactivity. And then, an unexpected life was born on an earth where oxygen had been cut off. A spectacular work by Jiro Kuwata (Jiro Kuwata), who uses his overwhelming writing skills to show the flow of "life": birth, development, struggle, selection, decline, extinction, and rebirth (mutation).

The first few dozen pages are especially famous. The era of humans without language. Manga without dialogue is like a ``silent movie''. The prologue, with its sharp pen touch
by Jiro Kuwata, is worth a look.
